With over a decade of experience in hospitals, outpatient , IOP, PHP, and crisis intervention setting. Melissa holds master degrees in mental health counseling (Caldwell University) and forensic psychology (American International College). As a compassionate and culturally aware therapist, she specializes in treating anxiety, depression, stress management , life transitions, and relationship concerns. Melissa is particularly interested in working with women as they find their balance with motherhood.
Melissa's approach is collaborative and strengths-based. She believes meaningful change comes when therapist and client work together as a team. Her therapeutic style integrates CBT, DBT, and solution-focused methods. Melissa places in emphasis on empathy, honesty, patience and respect to create a safe space for lasting growth.
