As a founder of Ferreira Counseling Services, Melissa believes that anyone can benefit from individual counseling. Melissa Ferreira is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) with over 10 years of experience in her field. She has worked in a variety of locations including hospital settings, IOP, crisis intervention, and outpatient services. She received her master’s degree in mental health counseling from Caldwell University. She holds a second master’s degree in forensic psychology from American International College. Melissa is bilingual and able to complete sessions in Portuguese. She works with clients aged 18 and older and specializes in mood disorders such as depression and bipolar disorder. She also specializes in anxiety disorders such as panic disorder, generalized anxiety disorder, and social anxiety.
